2 spiders
My hands are like two big spiders on the piano keyboard,
it seems they know which way to move,
on their own,
bringing out of me inner things I can't express,
creating the web of my soul.

New CD
I'm a man of few words, I like to speak only if I can say
something meaningful and new. I don't believe in words too
much, that's why I'm a songwriter and not a novelist I
suppose. On the other hand this is a blog, so I should keep
my fans informed about my music and new songs without being
too boring or meaningless. All of my songs are grown up with
time, waiting for inspiration, for pieces to go together,
for emotions and thougths to have a meaning, a life on their
own. I've had a lot of emotions lately. They're giving birth
to my new project. I'm working on the cover now. It's born
from a vision. I don't take drugs or alchool but sometimes,
when my brain is in "creative mode", my eyes fill up with
sudden images. I saw a reptile's eye. Looking as if he was
staring at his prey. Very cold and very mean. Like this :
I think it represents the deepest inner human nature. The
basic survival instinct that is maybe the only
charateristic all mankind has in common. This is a just a
sketch of the CD cover. If you have a reptile's eye
picture, with a more mean and bad look than this one, just
email it to me, you could own the art-credits of the CD cover.
It will be called "Nightmares & Dreams". Why ? Like the yin
and yang, positive and negative, 0 and 1, male and female. I
wonder if being a libra zodiacal sign has something to do
with my attitude to see things from both sides. I find that
life is mostly made of choices. And most likely the main
choice is between two sides. Life is living between the
choices we make everyday. The dreams that we have and the
nightmares that hunt us when we feel alone. And what starts
like a dream might turn into a nightmare ...

From Clotilde May in response to my post Autumn thoughts
I received a nice and kind mail in response to my last post,
it's an interesting point of view and I gladly publish it.
You may agree with it or not, it depends on your beliefs,
but the real point that makes me sad is that mankind still
need a God to make this world a nice place to live in, while
we all should look for a new better world to build in our
hearts and from our hearts.
Dario-V-
From Miss Clotilde May, USA.
MODERN MAN has lost respect for the earth in his greed for
comfort, speed and commercial gain." So reads the jacket for
the book 5000 Days to Save the Planet. We are living with
the results of man's greed. And whether theories about
global warming prove true or not, one thing is sure-man is
damaging our beautiful planet. Our only hope is the
fulfillment of the Bible's promise that God will "bring to
ruin those ruining the earth."-Revelation 11:18.God will
replace the corrupt system of human rulership with an
entirely new system. Before brushing off that idea as
religious nonsense, consider this: Who would know more about
the needs of earth's environment than its Creator? Such
criticisms are not reasonable, however. The World Book
Encyclopedia defines a miracle as "an event that cannot be
explained through the known laws of nature." By that
definition, a color TV, a cellular phone, or a laptop
computer would have been considered miracles just a century
ago! Does it make sense to be dogmatic and call something
impossible simply because we cannot explain it according to
present scientific knowledge?
Another fact to consider: In the original Greek language in
which the "New Testament" was written, the word used for
"miracle" was dy'na·mis-a word basically meaning "power." It
is also rendered "powerful works" or "ability." (Luke 6:19;
1 Corinthians 12:10; Matthew 25:15) The Bible claims that
Jesus' miracles were a manifestation of "the majestic power
of God." (Luke 9:43) Would such works be impossible for an
almighty God-One who has an "abundance of dynamic
energy"?-Isaiah 40:26.
Although God has permitted imperfection and suffering for a
long time from the human viewpoint, he will not allow bad
conditions to go on indefinitely. The Bible tells us that
God has a specific time period for allowing these things to
happen.
"For everything there is an appointed time." (Ecclesiastes
3:1) When God's allotted time for permitting wickedness and
suffering comes to its conclusion, then he will intervene in
human affairs. He will bring an end to wickedness and
suffering and will fulfill his original purpose to have the
earth filled with a perfect, happy human family enjoying
total peace and economic security amid Paradise conditions.

Autumn thoughts
These kind of things really make me mad !!!
I'm reading on papers ....somebody's thanking
hurricane Katrina saying it's god's punishment , ... the
jews are doing it because of bush support to sharon's
decision to withdraw from gaza, muslims are doing it
because it's allah's punishment for usa sins,
i think that the so called god or allah or whatever the
name, has something better to do than listening to
dogs' barkings ... what a pity and sadness for mankind
and our freedom of thought .... I don't believe in
religions, i think that they will bring mankind to a
anticipated ending ...
With nowadays technology and knowledge we could
build millions of heavens in this world but we're still
stuck with our heads in some god's ass ....... waiting for
useless never coming miracles, how sad .....

Why is music so important ?
Many ask me why I like music so much.
I have the highest consideration for music. Besides being
part of the material world, with its physics laws, music is
also made out of the dream world. Music brings together
transcendence and materialism in a way no other art can do.
All we need to enjoy it are just our ears and imagination.
Music has also other interesting peculiarities.
Music has the magical power to make different kind of people
realize that they share the same feelings.
It gives mankind something in common to all races and people
everywhere.
Last night I was looking at the Live 8 and chatting with a
student from Yemen who was asking informations about the
concert. We had a long nice chat and I learned some things I
didn't know about the life in Yemen. We found a common
ground in music, so that the communication could begin and
we could talk openly to each other because we shared the
same interests, we felt closer. Later I though that we could
never have had a chance to talk if it wasn't for music. We
were interested in each other's world. I think that people
is just the same wherever you go, all they want is to live
in peace, in a safe place, have food and health ...we're all
the same no matter our religion or colour. We should stop
thinking about our differences. Music and the TV media
tonight could dissipate a small percentage of the atmosphere
of incomprehension and fear, with Pink Floyd's words we
brought down a wall. Never believe the lies they're feeding
you. All we need are our hearts... and music of course.

Reviews
singer, girl with an awesome dreamy voice.
This will help me to answer when people ask me
which genre of music I write.
- NEW WORDS
- http://www.dariomusic.com/newwords.htm
Post new-wave, like Smashing Pumpkins or even Cure.
Very creative use of harmonies and I've never heard a
vocoder used like this. The piano "breaks" are very
pleasant. There is nothing like this elsewhere, very
bizarre and again with a Gothic touch.
- QUELLO CHE TU SEI
- http://www.dariomusic.com/quelloche.htm
Dark and menacing!
This reminds me of the music I listened to in high
school, very dark and gothic. It almost sounds like
organ in the background, adding to the haunted
atmosphere of the song. Fast moving with heavy guitar
and syncopated drums.

Love & Pentagram
Somebody asked me why I put the symbol of
pentagram (or pentacle) on my last cd picture cover.
I've been asked if it's a satanist symbol. I think it's time
to tell the real story behind LOVE!'s cover.
It all came out from a dream, in the early months of
2004 I was finishing recording LOVE!'s songs, I was fully
immersed in my music all the time. One night I had a
powerful vision in one of my dreams, there were high
walls, a raging black sea and a woman wearing a
necklace with a pentacle. I thought that it would have
been a good cover for my cd, because it represented to
me a synthesis between holy love and physical love. I
never thought about satanism, I just don't believe in it.
Many people still confuse the pentagram with the
perverted use the satanists do of it.
I post here a short description of the pentagram, taken
from the online enciclopedia Wikipedia.
I hope this will clarify people's ideas:
Pentagram
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
In fact, the word pentagram comes from the Greek
word (pentagrammon), a word meaning roughly "five-
lined" or "five lines".
Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece
and Babylonia. The Pentagram has magickal
associations.
Christians once commonly used the pentagram to
represent the five wounds of Jesus, but nowadays
some Christians associate the symbol with Satanism.
However, most who use it are not Satanists.
Satanists use the Pythagorean pentagram (one point
down) inscribed in a double circle, with the head of
Baphomet inside the pentagram.
The first uses of the pentagram we know of are found
in Mesopotamian writings dating to about 3000 B.C.
If you cut an apple transversally through its core, it
reveals a pentagram. The apple is also still, despite
Christian ideas over the years, a symbol of health. (An
apple a day keeps the doctor away.)
According to Heather Child's Christian Symbols, Ancient
and Modern, the pentagram is a symbol of the five
senses. Also, when the letters S, A, L, V, and S are
inscribed in the points, the pentagram is a symbol of
health (Latin salus).
In the medieval romance of Sir Gawain and the Green
Knight, it was on Gawain's shield along with a
Madonna. The pentagram was said to be part of a
theme of fives throughout the story, standing for his
five virtues.
In Goethe's Faust the pentagram hinders
Mephistopheles to leave a room.
"Mephistopheles:
I must confess, my stepping o'er
Thy threshold a slight hindrance doth impede;
The wizard-foot doth me retain.
Faust:
The pentagram thy peace doth mar?
To me, thou son of hell, explain,
How earnest thou in, if this thine exit bar?
Could such a spirit aught ensnare?"
I am writing this article because many people still
misunderstand the meaning of the pentacle and just think about it as a
satanic symbol.... ignorance is the worst enemy of all
mankind.
